"of Usquebaugh"= "from the water of life"
From the moment our first Leonberger came into our

So we have to had a name for our kennel.
Often it is so that you don't know the meaning of
the kennel name.
We have chosen the name "Of Usquebaugh".
I will try to explain where this name is from.
Usquebaugh is a twelfth-century word for,
in Latin "aque vitae",
in French "eau de vie"
and the Scottish en Irish "
